Current Good Manufacturing Practice, commonly abbreviated as cGMP, represents the minimum requirements that manufacturers must meet to ensure their products are safe, pure, and effective. Quality control involves testing finished products to verify they meet specifications, but it also includes monitoring the production environment, testing in-process materials, and investigating any deviations or complaints.
